Our Story
Holly and Brandon met in October of 2020. Amidst a pandemic, the first date consisted of a table for eight, for only a party of two, to adhere to keeping other parties six feet apart. Needless to say, the vibe was unsettling and Holly asked to be placed at the next available booth. A ten minute wait and they were seated in a suitable corner booth. Brandon must have appreciated a woman with good directive because he asked for a second date before the night was through. Holly appreciated his charm, brilliance and the thoughtful gesture of a dozen white roses when greeted at the front door. Since then, Brandon and Holly have celebrated many milestones with a dozen white roses. Their love for board games, exploration of dining experiences, evenings at the track, cheering on the Chiefs, tackling home projects and travel adventures have made for some of the best memories. On September 23, 2023, Brandon proposed to Holly in their front yard with Duke by his side. Their love for exploring and creating spontaneity has opened their hearts to many joys these past three years. Join them, along with their parents, as they celebrate in marriage on March 9, 2024 at Saint Francis of Assisi in West Des Moines at 2:00pm. The formal reception will follow starting at 5:00pm at Embassy Club West.
